EU CBAM is in force. 2026 imports are being verified now. Certificate sales open 1 February 2027.

CBAM data platform

Software that turns a plant's fuel, electricity, process and precursor records into installation-level under the EU methodology. One plant dataset serves the EU importer, India's Carbon Credit Trading Scheme, product footprints and EPDs.

CBAM data platform calculating specific embedded emissions for a demonstration electric arc furnace installation, with verification flags and an audit trail
Calculation view on a demonstration electric arc furnace installation producing billets. Figures are example inputs, not client data.

How it works

Each step keeps the source of every number, so a verifier can follow the calculation without asking for the spreadsheet behind it.

StepWhat happens
InputsFuel and electricity consumption, process inputs such as electrodes and carbonates, precursor quantities with their supplier values, and production output for the reporting period.
CalculationCombustion and process emissions from declared net calorific values and emission factors, indirect emissions from the grid factor, and precursor emissions added by goods category under the EU CBAM monitoring methodology.
ChecksFlags for default factors in use, missing supplier evidence for precursors, and grid factors that need confirming for the reporting year.
Audit trailEvery source stream listed with its quantity, factor, factor source and result.
OutputsSpecific embedded emissions, direct and indirect, per tonne of goods; a draft supplier communication for the EU importer; CCTS intensity data; ISO 14067 product footprints and EN 15804 results for EPDs.

Who it is for

Exporters of steel and aluminium

MSME plants whose EU buyers now ask for actual emissions data instead of .

EPC contractors

Firms designing new plants that need emissions monitoring built into the design rather than added after commissioning.

Plants under CCTS targets

Installations with notified GHG-intensity targets that want one dataset for domestic and EU reporting.

PathCarbon prepares emissions data and the documents behind it. Verification is carried out by an accredited third-party verifier.

Tell us what your plant produces and where its buyers are. We reply with what data a first reporting period needs.
